about the process
The process starts with porcelain - my favorite clay to work with. Each piece is either thrown on the wheel, hand built, or a combination of both. Designs are then painstakingly painted on by hand using custom blended colors. After an initial firing, glaze is applied to each piece and fired in a gas kiln.
This process results in pottery that is distinctive. Each piece has it’s own character and, due to its hand-crafted nature, is perfectly imperfect! Everything is food safe and dishwasher safe meant for your daily use.
